OnePlus is rumored to launch the OnePlus Watch 3 on January 7, which is when it will introduce the OnePlus 13 to the global markets and unveil the OnePlus 13R. There’s no word from OnePlus about the Watch 3 yet, but a new rumor claims the smartwatch will feature a rotating crown.
The source also shared the OnePlus Watch 3’s render based on a prototype, showing the rotating crown. Additionally, the source claimed that the OnePlus Watch 3 will have two color options and come with a heart rate sensor and ECG, with the latter being available in select markets.
Other rumored specs of the OnePlus Watch 3 include the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 SoC, 2GB RAM, and 32GB storage. It’s expected to run Watch OS 5 and RTOS and have a 500+ mAh battery under the hood. The Watch 3 could also come with LTE connectivity.
The OnePlus Watch 3 that got TENAA certified in June had a 500 mAh battery under the hood. It had model code OPWW234 and supported LTE connectivity. However, the design looked different from what the render shows us.
Earlier this month, a OnePlus Watch 3 with model designation OPWWE251 picked FCC certification, but that version packed a 648 mAh battery.
