It’s almost confirmed that Olympus will soon be announcing a retro-style camera, Olympus Malaysia has recently published a teaser image. The image shows the original OM-1 with the year “2025” visible in the reflection. Just after the teaser was published, rumor mills released several leaked images of the same camera.
Possible specifications of the upcoming camera and its announcement date:
- The name of the OM-D vintage camera may be “OM-3”
- Announcement around Chinese New Year (around January 29th)
- New sensor (whatever that means)
