nubia showcases Z60S Pro design and specs ahead of launch

The nubia Z60S Pro is expected to arrive tomorrow alongside the Z60 Ultra Leading Version, and today, the brand showcased the phone along with some specs.

The new phone will have a 35 mm equivalent main camera and a 5,100 mAh battery. Leakster also claimed the phone will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and two-way satellite connectivity.

The nubia Z60S Pro is the successor of the Z50S Pro, which also had the second-gen Snapdragon 8 chipset. The ZTE-owned brand decided to keep the old chipset in order to bring satellite connectivity to “affordable models”, added the leakster Digital Chat Station on their Weibo page. They also said the display will have 1.5K resolution, which should be a 1260p panel.

Another leakster shed some details about the actual camera sensors of the Z60S Pro. We are looking at a 50 MP Sony IMX906 sensor that is 1/1.56″ in size with an f/1.59 aperture in front. The ultrawide and telephoto shooters will be the same as the Z50S Pro – 50 MP ultra-wide and 8 MP telephoto shooters with an 80 mm focal length.

The battery will have 80W wired charging. The lineup of nubia Z phones usually lacks wireless charging (aside from this one version of Z40 Pro), and we expect the same with the Z60S Pro and the new Z60 Ultra. We will know for certain after tomorrow’s launch, which we will follow closely.
