Alongside the Moto Edge 50 series announcement earlier this month came the Moto Buds and Buds+, two new pairs of TWS earbuds. These are now almost ready to make their debut in India, where they will arrive on May 9.
The company has officially confirmed the launch date for the two products. The Buds+ have “Sound by Bose” and come in Forest Gray and Beach Sand, while the Moto Buds will be available in Glacial Blue, Coral Peach, Kiwi Green, and the Pantone-approved Starlight Blue.
The Buds+ have dual drivers (11mm woofer + 6mm tweeter) each, and feature Dolby Head Tracking, 8 hours of playtime on one charge, and 3 hours of playtime from just 10 minutes of charging. With the case the total battery life is 38 hours, and the case supports wireless charging.
The Buds, on the other hand, have a single 12.4mm dynamic driver each, Hi-Res Audio certification, 9-hour battery life, and support for fast charging. The Buds and Buds+ have triple mics, ANC, Transparency Mode, an Adaptive Mode, and Crystal Talk AI which blocks wind noise.
It’s still unclear how much these will cost in India, but for reference note that the Moto Buds were launched in Europe at €60 (approximately INR 5,362 at the current exchange rate), while the Buds+ have a recommended retail price of $130 (INR 10,848).
