We’ve been hearing about the iQOO 13 for the past few months, and a recent rumor claimed the smartphone will launch in India on December 5. While iQOO is yet to officially announce the iQOO 13’s launch date, a couple of its pictures surfaced on Weibo, showing the smartphone’s rear, which doesn’t look all that different from its predecessor — iQOO 12.
These images also reveal that the iQOO 13 will sport an RGB light around its rear cameras, and it looks cool. This light will presumably be used when gaming and for incoming calls and app notification alerts.
Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station says the light and the lens are made of a single piece of glass and feel smooth to the touch.
iQOO recently confirmed that iQOO 13 will be one of the first smartphones to launch with OriginOS 5. However, that would be the China model, while international versions – including the one that will launch in India – will run Funtouch OS 15. You can check out its rollout timeline here for vivo and iQOO’s devices.
While the iQOO 13 is rumored to launch in India on December 5, chances are the smartphone will be introduced in China first — either this month or next. Expect an announcement from iQOO regarding that soon.
