iQOO launched the Z9 in India in March, and on May 16, the brand will introduce the Z9x in the country. The Z9 available in India is different from the one sold in China. Hence, there was a possibility the Indian Z9x would also be different from the Chinese model. But now that some key specs of the Z9x have been confirmed, it probably won’t be the case.
iQOO and Amazon.in have revealed that the Indian Z9x, like its Chinese counterpart, will be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, pack a 6,000 mAh battery, and support 44W fast charging. The smartphone will come in black color in addition to the previously confirmed green shade, and it will be 7.9mm thick. It will also sport a 50MP camera.
If the rest of the Indian iQOO Z9x’s specs are the same as the Chinese model, you’ll get a 6.72″ 120Hz FullHD+ LCD, up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The smartphone will have an IP64 rating and feature an 8MP camera on the front, while a 2MP depth unit will join the 50MP primary camera on the rear. However, the Indian Z9x will likely run Funtouch OS out of the box instead of OriginOS since the latter is exclusive to China.
