A new AnTuTu listing just came out, featuring Oppo’s upcoming Find X8 Pro flagship phone running on what appears to be the unannounced Dimensity 9400 SoC. This leak comes right after a Geekbench scoresheet showing the chipset’s CPU prowess.
Interestingly, the combined AnTuTu 10 score beats every chipset we currently have in our database. The 2,880,558 points it got is way above what we’ve seen from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or even Apple’s M4 (although AnTuTu doesn’t recommend cross-platform comparisons).
However, an earlier entry for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 suggests the Dimensity 9400 might be toppled soon after its release.
Nevertheless, the rumored specs are still impressive. Dimensity 9400 is said to feature 1x Cortex-X5 core clocked at 3.4 GHz, 3x Cortex-X4 cores running at 3.3 GHz and a cluster of 4x Cortex-A720 cores ticking at 2.4 GHz. The silicon will be built on TSMC’s second-gen 3nm N3E manufacturing process. The Dimensity 9400 will debut in early October, right before the Find X8 series release.
