vivo X200 Pro (international version) in for review

We have the global variant of the vivo X200 Pro in for review, just a few days after it reached Western markets.

Our unit ships with the same accessories as the Chinese model – a case, a USB-C to USB-A cable, and a 90W charger.

Physically, the global X200 Pro and the Chinese version are identical. Luckily, we got the Titanium Grey so we can easily tell it apart from the Blue model we reviewed in October.

The main difference is the software. Chinese models run vivo’s OriginOS 15 (Android 15), while International models run on FuntouchOS 15 (also Android 15).

While fundamentally similar, the two have differences — Funtouch has Google’s suite of apps and services and its Gemini AI at the system level, while OriginOS has Jovi and deep integration with Chinese services for payments and the like.

The two OSes also differ in their visual style. OriginOS has larger text than FuntouchOS’s lower-scaled one.

However, the two OS situation isn’t all that important as users are unlikely to have a choice between them – you get one or the other, depending on your country. Yet, they may have an impact on things like battery life and camera processing, so we’ll retest those to see if we spot any differences.

Hardware-aside, the X200 Pro is the same excellent all-round flagship that can outclass any phone not named an Ultra. It packs a grand 6,000mAh battery, a potent Dimensity 9400 flagship SoC, up to 16GB of RAM, and a searing LTPO AMOLED screen upfront.

The camera system is world-class too, highlighted by the 200MP 1/1.4-inch sensor behind the 85mm f/2.7 zoom.
