Redmi K70 Ultra is coming this month, revealed the Xiaomi brand on its Weibo page. The official teaser gave us a glimpse of what to expect, but today, Redmi went all-in and showcased the device from all angles.
There are some changes the Ultra will have, compared with the Redmi K70 and Redmi K70 Pro, but they appear to be purely cosmetical – new shape of the lenses and grippier power button, but the frame remains flat, while the front and back are ever so slightly curved.
The brand also revealed some of the key specs of its new phone – a Dimensity 9300+ chipset and a new 3D heat dissipation solution that lowers the chip’s temperature by up to 3°C.
The resolution is getting downgraded for some reason – it is said to be 1220p (aka 1.5K), but the K70 Pro came with a QHD+ display, also called 2K in China. The panel would also support 120 fps.
Xiaomi Redmi K70 Ultra display and SoC teasers
Redmi recently revealed that a new display was developed jointly with TCL, and the K70 Ultra will be the first smartphone to use it. We just have to wait for the brand to reveal when that will happen, as we still don’t have an official launch date.
